Hope Church was started in the year 2000 by a small group of families from the Osceola area who were commuting to Lakes Free Church in Lindstrom, MN.

With the blessing and support of Lakes Free, Hope Evangelical Free Church was established. After a little over six years of ministry, we were again blessed to be able to move into our first permanent home. The building was completed near Christmas of 2006 and has been used to serve Christ and the community since then.

In 2009, Hope Church called Pastor Dave Williams to be senior pastor of Hope Church. He and his wife, Sheri, and four children faithfully served Hope Church for seven years. In the summer of 2016, Dave and Sheri decided to return to their home state of Colorado, where Dave took a senior pastor position.

From 2016 to 2018, Hope Church entered into a dedicated time of prayer, reflection, and seeking, asking God to reveal Himself and His plans to us. We were blessed with several godly pastors who helped teach, counsel, and preach at Hope Church during this time, including Rod Wetzig, Kevin McLouth, Jerry Edinger, and others.

In May 2018, Hope Church called Pastor Nate Roschen to be senior pastor and he began his ministry here in July. Nate and his wife Shantelle graciously loved and served the people of Hope Church and the community until August 2021, when Pastor Nate answered a call to a church in Colorado.

In August 2021, Hope Church celebrated its 20th Anniversary in Osceola, Wisconsin. Praise God! The celebration was held in our 21st year, as the pandemic prevented us from celebrating in 2020. Past pastors and friends, old and new, joined us for a Spirit-filled worship night, worship service, and picnic. The Anniversary Celebration was a meaningful time of reflecting on all that God has done and continues to do through His church!

In the fall of 2021, Hope Church made the decision to take time to pray, reflect, and reset. We worked through a sermon series in Titus with guest pastor, Josh Maciel, as we prepared to work with Interim Pastor Ministries. In December 2021, Pastor Dan Johnson and his wife Ellen, from IPM, began a process of intentional evaluation and preparation in order to ready Hope Church to call its next full-time pastor. We are faithful witnesses of all God has done and is doing and look forward to aligning with God’s plans for Hope Church!
