“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:9-10

In late-2018, Hope Church decided to try something different related to our Men’s and Women’s Ministries. We created the Connections Team, which aims to build and strengthen relationships both within our walls and in our community. In 2019, the Connections Team reorganized our Greeters, created outreach materials and welcome packets for visitors, coordinated Dinner for Several, and partnered with local churches for SHINE Week – a local mission trip serving those in need in our community.

We do believe it is important for men to meet together and for women to meet together. Hope Church organizes several opportunities to do so throughout the year. We can also help connect you with resources, studies, and groups in our community.

It has become a Hope Church tradition to have men attend the St. Croix Valley Men’s Retreat in Frederic, Wisconsin, and/or the Village Creek Men’s Retreat in Lansing, Iowa. Both are typically held in April. More information about these retreats and other opportunities for men to get together will be posted in our newsletter and church bulletin.
