Hope Church supports many different missions through financial giving, communication, and prayer.

Living a life defined by faith in God, we will obey the Great Commission, making disciples through the power of the Holy Spirit. Hope Church will prayerfully and intentionally focus resources to provide limited-term support and to supply specific needs to make a measurable difference as we:

  • Develop and facilitate meaningful local and global partnerships
  • Love sacrificially through the sharing of resources
  • Elevate Hope Church’s awareness of the need for evangelism and missions, and
  • Equip those who feel God calling them to serve in missions.

Past Missions Events

Missionary Visit – The Noriegas
We had a wonderful time visiting with Pastor Nelton and Bethany Noriega and their children and Lucas Kirchhoff in January. You can listen to the powerful message that Pastor Noriega shared with us on January 20, 2019, here. Praise God! The ETERNAL GOALS campaign to raise money for the purchase of new land for Genesis Church is going well. Thank you for your continued prayers. If you would like to contribute financially to this work God is doing, please visit The GoServ Global Giving website, select Peru Projects, and choose your amount. All donations are deeply appreciated!

Mission Peru
The Lord called 16 people to go to Iquitos, Peru in June 2017. We served with Nelton and Bethany Noreiga and Genesis Church, through GoServ Global. Genesis Church is building Camp Hidden Creeks in the Amazon rainforest where children can learn about Jesus, pastors can receive training, and the people of the jungle can hear the Good News! We helped work on the Noreiga’s house, fixed tractors and machines, and helped get their new sawmill up and running. We had an amazing time worshiping Jesus with the people of Peru and helped with Genesis Church’s children’s programs. God is doing incredible things in Iquitos and we feel blessed to be a part of it!

Christmas Community Offering
In 2016, we held a joint Christmas Eve worship service with Grace Church. I think everyone agreed that it was a powerful time of worship and celebration of our Savior! We collected an offering for the Polk County Salvation Army. We appreciate your generous giving to an organization that serves those in need right here in our community!

Hope Church Serves – Day Long Mission Work at Serenity Home (June 2015)
A team from Hope Church served our community by painting at the Salvation Army’s Serenity Home shelter in Balsam Lake, on June 27. Last winter, the Missions Team invited a staff person from the Salvation Army to speak with them about their needs. One of the priorities was to paint the kitchen and dining areas. These rooms had been painted an orange-y color many years ago and it was time for a fresh new look! Serenity Home provided the paint and some supplies. Volunteers provided additional supplies and a full day of effort. The Missions Team wanted to bless the volunteers AND the Serenity Home residents with a tasty lunch and supper that day. We are grateful for our sponsors who provided discounts and donations: Subway in Balsam Lake, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Paradise Pizza in Osceola, Dick’s Fresh Market, McDonalds, WalMart, and more! God was evident in the hearts of the volunteers who took their work seriously and didn’t quit until the job was done. We thank and give praise to our Father, who took care of every detail to make it a very successful day! We look forward to going back to paint other rooms at Serenity Home!

Mission Trip to New Delhi, India – RoadRunner World Missions (November 2013)
Hope Church joined with a group of nurses from Idaho and Washington to serve with Pastor Babu John and RoadRunner World Missions in NOIDA, India (near New Delhi). One group served for one week; another for two. We traveled from the U.S. with countless bags full of medical equipment and set up medical camps in various slums throughout the area. It was our goal to love the “untouchable” Dalit people using whatever gifts we each possessed. Some healed with medical knowledge and supplies, some played games with orphan children, some smiled and offered shoes, coloring books, and candy. All of us gained infinitely more than we ever gave!
