Verse: Colossians 1:18: "And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent." 

Prayer: Praise Jesus for his supremacy over all. Pray asking the Holy Spirit to help us operate as one body, united in spirit and truth, following Jesus as the head. Pray that we recognize the gifts bestowed upon each of us and that we may work together in harmony to fulfill the mission God has for us as a church.
